We Did It! A Record-Breaking Giving Tuesday for Rx Ballroom Dance

  • Dec 5, 2025
  • 2 min read

Because of the generosity, heart, and enthusiasm of our incredible community, Rx Ballroom Dance raised an extraordinary $10,642 during our 2024 Giving Tuesday campaign! 🎉💛

This achievement isn’t just a number. It represents movement. It represents connection. And most importantly, it represents real people whose lives are changing one step at a time.

Your Support Fuels Stories Like These

This year’s campaign theme, One Step, One Story, highlighted just a few of the incredible dancers in our community:

  • Bob & Marcia, who joined Rx Ballroom Dance while navigating Parkinson’s, cancer, and the challenges of moving to a brand-new city. Dance has helped them stay active, motivated, and joyful in a time of major transition.

  • Stacy, diagnosed with Young Onset Parkinson’s, who found confidence, friendship, and a vibrant new place to belong.

  • Anne, who rediscovered balance, strength, and purpose, performing in four showcases and calling dance the highlight of her week.

These stories are only possible because people like YOU believe in our mission.

Why This Matters

Every dollar donated helps people living with Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s, or neurological conditions:

  • Stay physically active

  • Improve mobility, balance, and stamina

  • Build community and connection

  • Experience joy, confidence, and purpose

  • Access classes regardless of financial ability

Your support ensures that no one is ever turned away due to cost—and that our programs continue to expand to the communities who need them most.
