May 9th, 2026 | Black & White Ball

We're just weeks away from one of the most special evenings in Rx Ballroom Dance history.
Resilience in Motion: A Black and White Ball isn't just a gala. It's a celebration of every person who's taken a brave first step. Every couple who's found each other again through dance. Every individual who's proven that challenges don't define limits, they reveal courage.
And it's happening Friday, May 9th.
Why This Night Matters
When Darlene walked into our Laguna Woods class, she were carrying more than just the weight of poor balance and a Parkinson's diagnosis. She was carrying uncertainty, and the fear that her passions were behind her.
Today, she's preparing to perform at our gala.
When Mike started classes, knowing that he had no dance background, little coordination and a Parkinson's diagnosis, he almost didn't come.
Today, he attends class every day and is getting ready to take the stage on May 9th.
These aren't just stories. They're proof.
Proof that ballroom dance therapy changes lives. Proof that community heals. Proof that it's never too late to discover what you're capable of.
