Why are we doing this?
During the month of June, Rx Ballroom Dance has set a goal of raising $10k. We are a nonprofit that provides free ballroom dance classes to participants living with neurological diseases such as Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s and dementia. Ballroom dance lessons can cost over $100 per lesson, and medical insurance providers haven’t clued in yet to the fact that dance has incredible positive health effects on these conditions.
Rx Ballroom Dance refuses to accept that one of the best ways to treat neurological disease can be unaffordable or inaccessible.
We are only able to do what we do thanks to the support of a community grant from the Parkinson’s Foundation and YOU. So THANK YOU!
