Dancing Toward Wellness at Sunrise Senior Living’s Healthy Living Expo

ree

On Thursday, May 29th, Rx Ballroom Dance had the joy of participating as a vendor at the Healthy Living Expo hosted by Sunrise Senior Living. The event brought together health and wellness organizations dedicated to improving quality of life for older adults—and we were thrilled to be part of the experience.

Our team shared the incredible benefits of ballroom dance therapy, especially for individuals living with Parkinson’s disease and other neurological conditions. From improving balance and strength to boosting confidence and connection, dance is more than movement—it’s medicine.

Throughout the day, we connected with residents, caregivers, and health professionals, offering insight into how our classes foster joy, physical progress, and community. We even got a few people dancing right on the expo floor!

A heartfelt thank you to Sunrise Senior Living for inviting us to be part of such a meaningful event. We’re always honored to spread the message that movement heals, and we look forward to more opportunities to engage with our community.

Stay tuned for more events and partnerships that keep us dancing forward.

It’s been a life-changing experience I feel more…
