A Night to Remember – Defying Limits Gala Raises Over $65,000

On May 10th, 2025, Rx Ballroom Dance hosted its most inspiring event of the year—The Defying Limits Gala—a night that celebrated movement, resilience, and the incredible community that makes our mission possible.

Set against a backdrop of shimmering lights, heartfelt stories, and non-stop dancing, the evening brought together students, supporters, healthcare professionals, and advocates united by one belief: that dance can transform lives.

And transform, it did.

Thanks to your generosity, the gala raised an incredible $55,840 in one night, contributing to a total of $65,073 raised through the Defying Limits Spring Campaign. These funds will directly support our free and low-cost therapeutic dance programs for people living with Parkinson’s and other neurological conditions—especially in under-resourced communities.

• 🎁 A lively silent and live auction, plus exciting raffles, helped us raise critical funds in fun, engaging ways.

• 🕺 The dance floor came alive during open social dancing, proving that joy knows no limits.
